Our mission

The association is especially active in providing support in major emergencies and pursues charitable and non-profit purposes. These include the promotion of assistance for disaster victims, support for fire / disaster / civil protection and the promotion of the public health system.

Our aim is to support those affected, without red tape, and to provide assistance where it is needed most.

Our story

The reason for founding the association was the desire of Siemens AG management and employees to provide direct, uncomplicated assistance to victims of the September 11 attacks. Siemens Caring Hands e.V. became active again in 2004 during the large-scale tsunami in Asia, in 2013 during the historic flood in Germany, as well as during the current Corona crisis and the flood disaster in Germany.
