Germany:
For donations of more than €300, a donation receipt will be sent for tax purposes in Germany. Donations up to €300 can be submitted to the tax office without an official donation receipt with the deposit slip of the bank transfer (e.g. a bank statement).
All donation receipts will be provided collectively at the end of the calendar year.
EU countries:
In some EU countries, the deposit receipt of the bank transfer (e.g. a bank statement) is recognized as a tax-deductible receipt. However, this varies from country to country and must be checked by the respective employee.
Non-EU countries:
Donations are usually not tax-deductible because the Siemens Caring Hands e.V. is registered in Germany.
You can find further information here.
Donations can be made as of now and Siemens AG will initially match all donations.
Siemens AG will match every cash amount donated, meaning the company will donate the same amount to Siemens Caring Hands.
With the donations, important aid measures for the Turkish and Syrian families will be implemented – for example, by providing them warm clothes, tents, and warming blankets. We have trusted NGO partners on-site who we are in touch with already and who we will work with on that matter.

Covid-19 Relief Fund
The Covid-19 Relief Fund provides fast and unbureaucratic support for aid organizations and medical facilities as well as those affected by the crisis worldwide. An overview of all implemented projects and supported initiatives can be found here.
In order to be able to help in the best possible way, the members of the board select the projects specifically and goal-oriented and approach suitable partner organizations independently. General requests can therefore not be considered.
Floods Relief
The floods caused widespread damage in many cities in Germany and neighboring countries, and many people suffered a hard fate. With donations from Siemens AG and its employees, Siemens Caring Hands helps to repair the damage, rebuild and restore, and carry out preventive measures.
