Aid Projects in Europe

Cyclone on the island of Mayotte

In December 2024, a devastating hurricane hit the French island of Mayotte. Several people lost their lives and over 1000 were injured. The storm also left a great deal of destruction on the island. Siemens Caring Hands e.V. supported its local partner, the Croix-Rouge-Francaise, with important relief supplies for the affected population. Thanks to this successful collaboration, a relief airplane was sent to the island with hygiene kits.
