Natural disasters in Morocco and Libya

In September 2023, while a storm caused devastating floods in eastern Libya, Morocco was simultaneously struck by a severe earthquake. Siemens Caring Hands e.V. was able to support various relief efforts through donations to help people on the ground in Morocco and Libya. In Libya, for example, damaged houses were repaired and emergency shelters were built. In Morocco, wells were constructed and water pumps were repaired to provide affected communities with drinking water.
