Siemens Caring Hands e.V. supports corona measures at Ederhof<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ederhof is a rehabilitation center for children and adolescents before or after organ transplantation<\/strong> as well as for their families in the midst of the wonderful mountain world of the East Tyrolean Dolomites, recognized by private and public health insurers in Germany and Austria. For 30 years, the rehabilitation center has occupied a unique position in Europe in the care of this specific group of patients.<\/p>\n

Siemens Caring Hands e.V. recently surprised the Ederhof Rehabilitation Center in Stronach with a donation of \u20ac150,000. Professor Dr. Stephan Frucht (left) and Martin Rohbogner (right) visited the center and delivered the donation.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of the Corona pandemic, Siemens called on its employees to support the Covid-19 relief fund administered by Siemens Caring Hands e.V.. Every euro donated was doubled and served to provide fast and unbureaucratic support to aid organizations, medical facilities and those affected worldwide.<\/p>\n

The donation will help the Ederhof to finance necessary infection control measures and to cover additional personnel costs incurred by limiting group sizes. Prof. Dr. Eckhard Nagel, Chairman of the Board of the Pichlmayr Foundation, and Robert Weichselbraun, Managing Director of the Ederhof, expressed their gratitude for the support from Siemens Caring Hands.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Stephan Frucht said that Siemens Caring Hands is proud to be part of the solution to the challenges posed by the corona pandemic for immunocompromised people in the postoperative phase with its commitment to the Ederhof.<\/p>\n
