Our mission<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The association is especially active in providing support in major emergencies and pursues charitable and non-profit purposes. These include the promotion of assistance for disaster victims, support for fire \/ disaster \/ civil protection and the promotion of the public health system.<\/p>\n

Our aim is to support those affected, without red tape, and to provide assistance where it is needed most.<\/p>\n

Our story<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Siemens Caring Hands e.V. was founded in 2001 by management and employees who wanted to provide rapid, unbureaucratic assistance to victims of the 9\/11 attacks. In 2015, the association’s statutes were revised to enable it to respond flexibly and effectively to new global challenges. Today, we support those affected by humanitarian crises in various sectors and regions, combining the commitment of Siemens employees and the company to ensure aid reaches those most in need.<\/p>\n
